I wanted to run the IE repair tool, but discovered that IE6/tools was
missing from the Add/Remove programs list. I think it must have happened
after I installed SP4 for W2K. Is this by design or if not, can it be easily
corrected? By the way, I ran the repair tool through the start/run/open
command prompt. All seems to be fine, although I still wonder about
IE6/tools missing from the programs list.

I could find nothing in the knowledge base that specifically addressed
resolution of this problem for IE6 and W2K. The closet thing I could find
was IE5/internet tools missing from programs list on Windows 95 and NT4. The
only recommendation was to reinstall IE5. So,I ran setup for IE6 again and
rebooted. Still not showing up in programs list! Doesn't seem worth the
hassle of completing uninstalling/reinstalling. I suppose I should just
leave it alone since it seems to be working fine other than just not showing
up in the programs list. Anyone have any personal experience with this?
