Hi all,
i have noticed, if i upload a document with a string like the
following:

Hello mister frenché

and view it with IE6, the accented e get smaller.

view it with IE7 and the accented e stays the same size

Why is this so? This there a way to oversome this?
If changing the font type (of the string) makes a difference, which
font over comes this?

Hi Kavi,

Its a case of different fonts for different folks, ..well actually font
families.

A web doucment may specify a font or a font family in its document styling,
but because IE has a setting for the font family to use when rendering a web
page (Internet Options - General tab - Fonts button), the best practice for
web document publishing is not to use Fonts or Font Families (or absolute
font sizes!) as these can all be blown away by the users Internet Explorer
display and accessibility settings. Given the page encoding and language
meta tag, IE can decide what font to use from the users font family
preferences.

Regards.
