A tech. recently installed windows XP pro, while replacing a hard drive
and now Ican't get into the browser through any search I've tried.I
keep going to the microsoft download page.I am new at this and I have not
been able to locate the URL for the IE.Can anyone help?

Hi,
I'm guesing that IE is installed, but not accessible.

Try this:
Go to Control Panel> Add/remove programs> Add/remove Windows components> put
a check
by IE. OK your way out. Restart.

You may also have to go into "Set program access & defaults" and make
choices regarding "Default" and "Enable access."

You may also have to go into Display properties> Desktop> Customize to check
IE under Desktop icons.

Hope this helps,
