IE6/7 Security Settings

After I uninstalled IE7B2, I noticed that IE 6 was acting strangely. It seems
that IE7 has left the security settings of IE6 in a bit of a mess. For
example, I can no longer set the security settings to high (it changes back
to medium), when I refer back to default security settings, it sets a custom
profile rather than using the 'medium' security setting.
By default some scripts have been disabled, which I can't change without IE
changing them back again.

Is there any way to repair/restore IE 6, to original settings?

Thanks.

Hi Alan :-)

Strange or Odd IE behavior: As you have tried the IE7 Beta side by side
install, which is unsupported, see the information here:

also...

IE7 Beta 2 Public Preview testers are asked to post their comments and

I didn't install IE7B2 side by side with IE6, I reverted back to IE6.
It's not a major problem, as I can reset the default security settings by
manually setting each option, it's just that IE7 leaves the security
interface in a bit of a mess with my system.

Thanks for the link, I'll post my problem there.

Alan.

Yup. Did mine too, and a few other things as well. <g>

Good luck!
