IE5.5

Would anyone know if it is still possible to install an earlier version of
IE? I suspect I am having problems with version 6 and want to test my theory
that it's related to a particular version by testing an application on 5.5,
but I cannot seem to locate it on Microsoft's web site.

It depends on what operating system you have.
If XP, then you cannot.
If Win9x, then you should have the option in Add/Remove of going back
to a previous configuration, though it may take you back to IE5.

IE5.5 is no longer available from MS
It is available here if you really need it (and can install it)
