Every time I do a "delete temporary internet files" and "clear
history" My cookies dissapear and I have to log again to most of my
favorites. Actually mostly places like NY Times and Chicago Tribune.
Why is this happening? I don't delete cookies as I thought that was
where all that data was stored. What do I have set wrong? I thought
"Cookies" was a seperate folder.

Another thing is when I click on an MPEG file IE^ opens a window on
the left and starts playing the MPEG, How do I get rid of this? It
used to play in Media Player. I don't know what happened to change
that. Anyone know how to. To get Media player to play the file I have
to do a right click fillowed by "Open in a new window" What do I have
set wrong?

Their is another (fix) for your second ? but for now I'm
having a brain lapse. When you click on the MPEG link
hold down the shift key this should open the full WMP.
