ie6 keeps encountering problem and as to shut down have
all avaliable c/updates which initially cured it and also
iesp1 but the problem is back no idea what next move is
any body any ideas

Check for parasites. If still no joy then please post the exact error
messages, the operating system you have and the version of IE.

Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
