Why does the header at the browser always
display...MICROSOFT INTERNET EXPLORER PROVIDED BY AT&T
WORLDNET SERVICE. I have cox cable and a digital modem
now. I no longer have dial up nor the above service?

Because your Internet Explorer was modified by them when you used
their service.

At some time in the past, someone either installed a version of
Internet Explorer provided by AT&T Worldnet or installed other AT&T
Worldnet software that changed the header. Changing Internet
providers doesn't remove such a header.

To remove the AT&T Worldnet branding, run the registry editor and
delete this registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\
Main\Window Title
