IE wont run?

I have xp home edition and all of a sudden my IE will not
run. The browser opens but cannot open. I receive an error
stating "is not responding" any help would be great.

Hi,

I tried that but I did not restart my computer, so I
will do so.. I also reinstalled xp..but it still had the
problem.. Do I need to uninstall xp to correctly reinstall
xp?
