I have a brand new dell computer and the internet Explorer will not remember
the cookies set by web sites that I use to log-in. I have to retype my login
info or to sign in. For example, using www.excite.com as a home page, it's
customized for my preferences but with each new day, I have to sign in again.
It seems to clear out all that info each day.
I've tried reducing the security settings, setting it to allow cookies,
typed in the excite address as a trusted site. everything i could think of.
I'm working on a windows xp-home operating system.

PLEASE HELP!!

Hi Kevin,
While you are on the Web on the Menu bar click on Tools >> Interent OptionsOn the Content Tab you will see under Personal Information a button named
AutoComplete click on it and on the AutoComplete Settings you will see under
the header titled:
Use AutoComplete for:
[ ] Web Address
[ ] Forms
[ ] User names and passwords on forms check this for the website log
in to remember your Password.
Also you can set it to remmeber your web address and forms it depends on
what you realy want it to do or your needs.
Hope this what you are after.
Regards,
nass
