IE won't open - wants to send error report

You know how sometimes when internet explorer crashes, that
box shows up that asks you if you want to send an error
report? Every time I try to open internet explorer for
internet purposes or even just explorer or my computer
etc., I get that. I cannot open control panel to delete the
program and redownload it, and I cannot find an uninstall
for it anywhere on my computer. My computer activities have
been extremely limited because of this. I cannot find
anything, anything, anything to fix this, I've called Dell
(which my computer is) and tried finding a support number
for IE which only directs me to the support numbers of
computer manufacturers. I've tried downloading updates that
say they fix the problem I have, but it doesn't. I'm going
half crazy! Please, please help.

I'm having this problem too.

Argggghhhh. I just want to delete the stupid thing and
reinstall, but I can't do that. I have to use the alternate
program (netscape) to use the net.

And I don't think its a hijacking like someone suggested in
another post.

This is an error within the program itself.

I'd love to know why in the world Microsoft wouldn't
include a way to delete the stupid thing and just reinstall.
 
Same problem here with 2 of my user accounts if the answer is found please email me as well (e-mail address removed) I'll do the same.

It is so easy for topics to be lost in the constant
updatings of this newsgroup! Since I've found a million
posts with people in desperation due to this problem, it
would probably be better if we set up a little mailing list
group or something outside of this newsgroup where we can
easily contact each other about this problem... its so
strange how quickly it popped up and how much it impairs my
computer activities!!! I can't even open explorer to get
into control panel.. and get this, I got a new MP3 player
the other day and I can't use it because I need to get into
explorer to paste songs into the removeable drive. ugh!
