IE won't load #!!^&!!##!!

My internet connection is ok. My email works just fine but
IE takes forever to load. I have defragged, run spybot and
disk cleanup utility but still something is dragging IE
down. Infection? Someone mentioned running spybot in safe
mode. Any thoughts on this?
 
Yes it is always a good idea to run Anti Spyware programs in safe mode.
In addition to Spybot also download this program & run it.
Ad-aware - http://www.lavasoft.de/ - FAQ, Help & Forum @ Site. Its actually
an easier program to run. Be sure to configure it according to the
instructions then you can delete everything it finds. Before you run them
be sure to check for updates to ensure you have all the latest definitions.

You may have a hijacker, malware, spyware or parasites on your system
causing this problem. Thus, in addition to running your updated anti-virus

You might also want to get Art's updater, SYS-UP.Zip, here for future

(If you download and use the updater from the beginning, it will
automatically handle downloading the other files. Place them in a dedicated
folder after appropriate unzipping, and then run. This scan may take a long
time, as Sysclean is VERY extensive and thorough

NOTE: If you can not download these programs from the Internet, if your PC
has CD read capabilities, go to another computer with CD-ROM burning
capabilities. Create a folder on the hard drive of the other computer called
HOLD, download the programs to that folder, then burn that folder to a CD.
Copy the HOLD folder to your HD and then install the programs from there
and run them. After you have IE access again, update all programs where
possible to get the latest definitions and run them again in Safe Mode to be
sure there are no lingering items on the system.

What I'm seeing here is identical to what is happening with my Internet
Explorer too! Keith you are having the exacto same problem as me.
Everything else works fine, e-mails, IM's, other search engines, browsers,
I've defragged, cleaned up, read the Dummy book on hopefully related stuff
(to no avail) and asked everyone I know about this and what the problem could
be. The message I get in the title bar sayS: Cannot find server" after I
try to go to a site that is loaded on IE. What gives? Someone told me it's
an AOL thing (my ISP) and that the problem lies there. They said AoL should
be able to fix this problem. But sometimes, it loads just fine. Other times
it doesn't!! Its like it does it when it wants to and other times it doesn't
if it's not in the mood. Know what I mean? I miss out on a lot of stuff too
because my IE doesn't load sometimes.
