I'm having same problem as Ramesh. I.E. won't load, the system sends an error message to MS. I've been running Norton and religiously get updates. In desperation I deleted Norton and loaded McAfee. It picked up a Trojan Norton didn't: Exloit-Codebase.gen Could this have corrupted my I.E. I downloaded Netscape and it is working fine, but I.E. is dead. Thanks. Help

Hi there Kimczak,

By clicking on the provided link in the error reporting tool window, you can
access details of the error message AND you will be given the opportunity to
send a report to Microsoft. Some people prefer to disable the tool.
Instructions for the various operating systems can be found at the link
below

You may download and install the Ad-aware spyware removal utility from the
following Web site:
http://www.webattack.com/get/adaware.shtml

Initiate the Adaware and it will deep scan the registry for spywares, After
the scan is finished, click [Next] button. Select all the items
(checkboxes). right click on any object in the "Scan result" list and choose
[Select all objects], Click Next and click OK to confirm spyware removal.

Help

Hi Kimczak,
I'm not facing the problem, but helping others to cure it :o)

To test with: Disable third-party browser extensions in Internet Explorer
1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Internet Options.
3. Click the Advanced tab.
4. Under Browsing, clear the Enable third-party browser extensions
(requires restart) check box.
5. Restart Internet Explorer.

If this helps, read here for further troubleshooting:
