When using IE if I close one window or tab it will close all windows.
Sometimes they just close for no reason. What do I do?

Try running IE 7 in a no add-in mode. Right the Internet Explorer Icon on
the desktop to select "Start without Add-ons". If there is no Internet
Explorer icon on your desktop then use your Start menu to launch IE without
add-ons by:

Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Internet Explorer (No
Add-ons)

If the IE symptoms you have describe are no longer a problem then I would
suggest there is a problem with an Add-on and this add-on should be disabled
or uninstalled.

To find the problematic Add-on:

Control Panel (Classic View) > Internet Options > Programs tab > Manage
Add-ons.

Disable all add-ons then enable one add-on. Use Internet Explorer for a
while. If IE still operates correctly then enable another add-on. Repeat
until the culprit is found.

Also, I would strongly recommend you scan your computer for malware.
Remember to update the definitions before performing a full system scan.

Click Start, Run, type SFC /SCANNOW, click OK. If any are damaged or
missing files, they'll be replaced. You may need to reboot afterwards
so damaged files can be replaced.
