My SP is Earthlink. I have been using this service for close to ten years.
Believe it or not I do not know how to browse without first hooking up to
Earthlink. How do I get to IE and browse from there? I need a blank IE page
to practice writing HTML for a webpage. Would appreciate input (and help!)
Thanks

Hi,
I may be misunderstanding, but you will have to connect to your ISP in order
to browse the internet.

To make IE open blank... IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Homepage> Use
Blank.

As far as creating webpages in HTML...
You don't create pages with Internet Explorer. You create the page with
Notepad, another text editor or an HTML editing program. You can
display/view the page in IE .

EasyHTML is free and easy to use

Max's HTML Beauty is free and a little more advanced than EasyHTML

This is a great place to start learning HTML http://www.w3schools.com/html/

Hope this helps,
