Hi. Anyone know how I can prevent websites from changing the size of IE's
window? I really, really hate it when the window size changes without my
approval. Something easy I can do in the internet options? I have Panicware
Pop-up blocker basic but it does not seem to have a setting for this.

Thanks!

Here is a perfectly "Legal" way to play with window sizes, I have a local
page as homepage that always opens in same place so never far from getting
back to readable. Check the javascript on this page and maybe you'll find
something that suits what you want.

Thanks. Actually I was trying to go the other way. I do not want
websites blowing up my IE window to fullscreen. I want to maintain a
fixed window size at all times.

Well one thing I've found is under the Security tab if you choose "Custom
level" you can scroll down to "Scripting" and change "Active Scripting" to
Disable or Prompt. This will prevent the window.resizeto script from
running. Probably blocks lots of other scripts too. I will post later if
there are unintended consequences.

My solution to this is to NEVER visit the site again. Why reward a site
for bad behaviour?
