IE Window opens small everytime

Hi, our IE 6 SP1 window opens either at 2/3rd screen or
in a very small window. To get it to have the maximized
window, you must double click on the window. Does any
know how to fix? I know it's not the end of the
world ,but it's sure annoying.

Open such a window.
Don't use the maximize button.
Stretch the edges/corners so that the window fills the screen.
Close all other IE windows.
Close the stretched window.
