Hi Dave
You don't mention the version of Windows you are using so I can only
guess, but, here are a few things you might try:
Go to Tools>Internet Options> Advanced.
Uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts".
Also, this can be caused by erd party add-ons, such as Google toolbar, MSN
toolbar, a firewall, other pop-up blockers, etc. If you have any of these
disable them and see if it helps. If you have Yahoo Companion, a very
common cause, uninstall it.
If you don't have any of these type of programs check the information

Hope this helps.

I just started having a problem with IE 6 that I can't figure out.
Before when I had an IE window open, clicked on something that opened a
new browser window, the original window would stay open too. Now as soon
as the new window opens, the original window closes.
Any suggestions?
