IE Window blinks/flickers????

Hey
I have Windows XP (w/ all updates downloaded) and I'm using IE 6. I have a Radeon 9600 Pro graphic card. I'd say every 10 min. I'm on IE, the window begins to blink/flicker and like when it does this, I can't move my mouse around or type text in the window. Like it freezes, and just keeps doing that until I close all the IE windows and relaunch it. Its EXTREMELY annoying and has been going on for about a month now. Anyone have any idea how to fix this? Its driving me crazy
