IE will not load

I'm running Windows XP Home and all of a sudden my IE and
other windows such as My Computer and Control Panel take
forever to load. The finally come up after about 3
minutes, but never fully load. My connection is fine.
It seems to have happened all of a sudden.
Can anyone help???

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
