Windows XP IE vs FireFox

There was a discussion in my office regarding which is a better browser IE or FireFox .So can anyone suggest me which is better because I am little bit confused between these two.

Its all down to pesonal opinion... I think both are very good, but I'm using IE at the moment - simple because I'm used to it. A few months ago I did use FireFox much more and it was generally faster overall.

Try both and see which you prefer :D
 
I am using Firefox at the mo, personally i think its faster and some say its more secure than I.E. Plus i use the RSS feeder on firefox witch is a great idea imo.
 
I'm using I.E at the moment suits me and with all my antivirus and firewall in place never have a problem...
