I use IE 6.0.2800.1106 on Windows ME 4.90.3000. Somewhere
surfing the web I've picked up various intrusive "IE Add-
Ons". I get new pop-up advertisement windows, new
processes named "Iexplore" continually spawn (and I kill
them), my home page keeps being changed, and two new
Toolbars appear advertising various annoying products, one
at the top and one at the bottom. How do I get rid of all
these things, and keep them from coming back?
I believe my particular web service (SBC in Dallas) is
incompatible with Zone Alarm; I previously had Zone Alarm
and never had any of these problems. Is there another
product similar to Zone Alarm?, and again, how do I clean
all these things off?
