When browsing the web, IE always writes the following text in the title bar
after the title of the web page
" - Microsoft Internet Explorer"

Is there a way of disabling it just for my website, so that only my web
title description is displayed. I noticed that Macintosh Safari doesn't
write "Safari" after web page titles.

No, it can't be changed via a web site / web page.
It's a setting in the system registry,

You would have to have code to hack and rewrite the user's registry -- which
is doable but is NOT recommended...
