Morning all,
| I am currently running IE6 on 98 and XP pro. A site I am trying to access
| requires IE 5.0 or greater but is interpreting my version to 4.01-I do
have
| a firewall operating. Any suggestions would be great-Thanks in advance,
| Glen

Jus in case you wish to confirm your version.

Determining Which Version of Internet Explorer You Are Using
All versions of Internet Explorer 5 that are customized with Microsoft
Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK) include one of the following
strings after the version number when you click About on the Help menu:
IC = Internet Content Provider
IS = Internet Service Provider
CO = Corporate Administrator

I suspect that your FireWall is blocking the site.

Place the site in your trusted zone, in IE and see what options you have
with your firewall.
