I have both Acrobat 5.0 and Adobe Reader 7.0 installed on my computer. I'm
too cheap to upgrade my elderly version of Acrobat, which frequently won't
handle the content of recent PDF files. How do I convince IE6 to use Adobe
Reader instead of Adobe Acrobat when I need to access a PDF file? The
default application for PDF files is Reader 7, and this works fine everywhere
except in IE6.
Right now, if I encounter a link to a PDF page, I have either to "Save Link
Target" on my desktop and then double click it, or switch to Netscape (which
doesn't always work too well either) to view the referring page in order to
follow the link.
TIA
