IE uses the wrong LAN connection

Hi there,

I have 2 network cards in my computer
to one of them i' ve got my router connected and the settings of this one
are set to obtain IP adress automatically - from the router

the other lan card is used to connect to my companys network, on this one i
have a static IP adress assigned,

My company network also has a internet connection

when I open Internet Explorer a message comes up from my companys network
hardware firewall

soIE is trying to get to the internet using the company network, I want it
to use the direct connection to my router, how do I set this up??
when I unplug the company connection it works fine.
help???????

I recommend that you consult with the people who administer the
company network. Explain what you want to do, and ask them if the
company permits simultaneous connections to the company network and to
a separate Internet connection.

Some companies don't allow that, because it can be a security risk.
If it's allowed, the network administrators can tell you how to do it.
