I just have a question.... how come some IE browsers
wrap a word typed in url bar in "www" and ".com", and
others do not, when pressing CTRL+ENTER. I have been on
different computers, using IE version 5.0 thru 6.0, and
get different results. on some computers you can, on
others you cannot. and like right now, I am in an internet
cafe, and there're a dozen of computers here, and all are
identical... but on some I can type just a word, and
after pressing CTRL+ENTER it automatically wraps
in "www...com" and on others I have to type the whole URL.
So far anyone I 've asked had no clue why it
happens.... even administrator here doesn't know. and I
am just interested as to why it happens, and is there
anything can be done to change it... so it does happen -
just makes it easier.
thanks,
dmitry!!
