Hopefully someone can help me before I lose the rest of my hair. Over the
last couple months I have noticed that when i click on links on certain sites
i use cause all my IE window to close at once. For instance...on my fantasy
football website (cbssportsline.com), when I click on the link to get details
of my current fantasy football matchup...it instantly closes all IE windows.
However i can navigate through the rest of the site with ease. This problem
has only occured on about 6 different sites but it's becoming a pain in the
but and is starting to make me mad. If someone could please help me I'd
appreciate it!

Hi Kane :-)

You don't mention the version of Windows you are using, but, try the
following as they apply to your OS and see if it helps:

Try deleting the History and Temporary Internet Files *folders*
for the user account having the problem. See:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm

Go to Start>Run type in
regsvr32 Urlmon.dll (notice the space between 32 and urlmon)
Hit enter and ok out.

IE shuts down without warning

You may also need to update or replace your video driver. Go to the website
of the manufacruter of your video device and download and install the latest
driver from there and see if that helps.

also.

You might want to refresh your scripting engine:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/nhp/default.asp?contentid=28001169
or
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/downloads/list/webdev.asp
Windows Script 5.6 for Windows 2000 and XP
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...43-7e4b-4622-86eb-95a22b832caa&DisplayLang=en

If refreshing your scripting engine didn't help, you might try reregistering
these two DLLs

Reregister (regsvr32) all DLLs listed in the "Resolution" section of
this article:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=281679

If still no joy.....

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out what the malware is that is
causing the problem.

Hope this helps.
