you didn't actually say if the page ever displayed in the
end, if it just stops loading and the page does not
display,
then here is a possible solution:
open ie 6.0/5 or whatever and go tools, then go, internet
options..., click the connections tab, then check in the
lan section, delete all the proxy settings stuff, if there
is no proxy settings then check the settings section of
the content tab, delete anything connected to proxys.
Hope it works,
also if it doesn't work then it is not my fault,
also you may wish to take down the values and places
of the data that you delete in case you wish to type
it back in.
