I have this problem for long time on my home computer. When i try to download
a file which sometimes has only 2MB or larger 20MB, IE doesn't progress after
brief period. Example, tonight i try to download Oracle Platform 8.1. IE only
progress up to 5MB and stop. any help?

Hi,
Try clearing the cache and setting it's size to about 50-60 MB for normal
use- larger for a large download.

To clear the IE cache. IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete files
(and delete offline content when that dialog pops up.)

Or, your TIF folder may be corrupted. Delete the TIF folder using the
appropriate instructions at http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm

Hope this helps,
Don
