Windows version? IE version? Please see this page http://dts-l.net/goodpost.htm then post back to this thread with the
information we'd need to be able to assist you properly.
This problem existed on a Compaq Presario 1500 Laptop running XP and I
believe IE 6 for some time. Had a newer and faster desktop so had let it go
for some time. A co-worker suggested uninstalling IE and then reinstalling
it. While trying to figure out how to uninstall in add and remove programs,
found Yahoo toolbar and uninstalled it as a trial. Bingo!! That took care
of it. Thanks for responding!
Tip: Save the installer to your desktop, do not Run it.
Make *certain* that you check in at Windows Update immediately after
installing IE7 and install any critical updates offered. If Optional
Updates category offers Root Certificates update, I recommend installing it
to take full advantage of IE7's additional security.
