I have a P3 500, 256mg ram, Ultra TNT2 vid card, 3Com
Ethernet card, Win XP Pro.
I'm able to use the sys for anyhting but the internet.
When i open Explorer and go to a web page, with in 30 sec
of opening i get a blue screen that tells me that windows
must shut down due to a memory problem of some sort and
gives me a error number ox40000080 and some others.
I'm unable to pause the window so i can write it all down
before it reboots.
Is there an app for checking to see if my memory chip are
any good?
I have run a virus scan and come up clean.

That sounds like the Blaster Worm. Look in your running
processes under the taskmanger and see if there is a
program running called Mblaster. If so, go to one of the
anti-virus companies web sites and download their tool for
removing the blaster worm.
