Internet explorer shut down when visiting some web site. It consistantly
shuts down when going to http://www.signonsandiego.com/ (I can access this
web site from my laptop with no problems.
I am running WP Pro SP2 and everything is up to date. The computer is only a
couple weeks old. I have run hardware tests and a memory check for about 3
hours with no faults. I have Norton's Anti Virus installed and run online
checks from OneCare and TrendMicro. I have uninstalled IE7 and it crashed in
IE6. So I reinstalled IE7. Short of reinstalling the entire OS does anyone
have a suggestion?

I get the following errors in the application log ( there are more than what
I am showing but don't want to overload the info.)

Fault bucket 489155830.

Run a /thorough/ check for hijackware, including posting your hijackthis log
to an appropriate forum.

When all else fails, HijackThis v2.0.2
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware with
assistance from an expert. **Post your log to

analysis, not here.**

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, reputable and
independent (i.e., not BigBoxStoreUSA) computer repair shop.
