IE 6 is constantly shutting down when I try to access any
web site. It immediately hangs, and when I close it out,
I get the "program not responding" message. This happens
constantly. Any ideas?

Run MSCONFIG from the start/run applet
Under StartUp tab, disable all except Explorer and Systray.
Reboot if all is well then some program running is the culprit.
