IE Shuts Down

There is not any kind of pattern to my problem, it
happens at all different times, right when I sign on or
15 minutes later or 5 hours later. I get kicked off of
all Internet Explorer pages, Outlook Express, Yahoo,
anything I am on, but my connection says that I am still
connected to my ISP. I disconnect and then reconnect and
it's fine, but then it can act up again, sometimes
immediately. My Outlook Express shows this error
message:
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection.
Possible causes for this include server problems, network
problems, or a long period of inactivity. But it is not
my ISP.
I have contacted Compaq 3 times for this problem. I have
unloaded and reloaded IE at least 5 times and I still
have the same problem. It's very aggravating and I don't
know what could be causing it. I have my Norton Anti-
Virus updated constantly and I have scanned many times
for viruses. My connection window shows that I keep
trying to send info on the sent side but nothing comes in
on the received side, my compression rate goes up and so
does the number of errors on the received side. If you
have any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate your
help.

Thank you for your time.....

This may be due to a spywares on your system

I suggest you try this:

Control Panel | Internet Options | General tab

Delete all cookies
Delete all temporary internet files
(include all offline content)
Remove all Downloaded Program Files
To do that, you click on that "settings"
button and then click on the "View Objects"
button and then right click and choose remove
for all of them, if any, one at a time.
Some of them may not remove. Don't worry about that.
Close the Downloaded Program Files window,
Click OK to the Settings window.
Now clear History

Now click on the "Advanced" tab at the top
of Internet Options.
In the Browsing section, uncheck the box for
"Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart)"
Click "Apply" and then "OK" at the bottom
of Internet Options
Close out of Control Panel

Restart the computer

Download one or both of these Anti Spyware programs
and install them, update them and scan your system
and delete any spywares that may be found.
