IE Shuts Down - Not able to access secure pages

I have to type this post quickly or my IE shuts down even
though the Internet connection is still active. Then I
have to go back to the website and try to remember where
I was.

I am also unable to access secure pages when trying to
pay online payments.

If it mentions RPC you probably have the MSBlaster worm.
First, find and delete MSBlast.exe then reboot.
The first and last links are to copies of scripts that will disinfect your
machine, the last one being zipped.
