After shutting the IE browser sown, a popup states
that "The instruction at "0x01b32008" referenced memory
at "0x01b32008". The memory could not be "read".

what the hell does this mean?

It means that there is a bug somewhere on some program. It's very annoying
error message because it really doesn't help at all. Reason for that error
might even be that you have got spyware or other parasite, which has then
bugs. Parasites often mess with internet explorer. You could check for
parasites.

Also which windows version you have? If you have windows 2000, xp or nt, you
could check Event Viewer. There just might be some other error messages,
which could help. You could also start Doctor Watson. It might catch some
more information about that problem.
