Good afternoon. We have a user here who has various IE shortcuts on her
desktop to different sites. We also are forced to use Outlook Web Access
for our email so it is usually open in the taskbar. When she clicks on the
any of the IE shortcuts from the desktop instead of opening a new instance
of IE it overlays the open OWA window which is annoying as she keeps having
to log back into OWA. I'm sure there is a simple way to tell the shortcuts
to open in a new window. Anyone know how? Thanks.

Hi,
From IE> Tools> Internet Options> Advanced> Browsing> uncheck "Reuse windows
for launching shortcuts." That should work reliably with Internet Shortcuts
on the desktop. Let me know if that doesn't work. There are other
workarounds.

Hope this helps,

That worked perfectly. Thanks.
