ie shortcut baloon renamed. When I highlight the ie shortcut on desktop it now says http://go-concepts.games.tucows.com/preview/343961.html about blank. I can make the baloon dissiper so I don't see it but is there a way to get this off my computer has my brouser been hijacked. When I click on search on ie toolbar it opens search of the computer for files instead

IE 6.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware

and:

SpyBot-S&D

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.

More: This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.

Microsoft said they don't Know how the others are getting their names
inserted in the baloons. Thanks for trying this one was just too hard.

I just want to rename internet exployers , desktop, shortcut's pop-up
Trying to rename it may be your problem.
Why not just delete it and create a new shortcut?

Yes I deleted it and created a new shortcut to internet exployer on desktop.
I also tried uninstaling IE and then reinstaling. Still there like it rode
in on a desktop theme.
