Could use more specific advice about sp2 security settings for IE Zones. If
I enable active x prompting, will it prompt all active x or just those that I
have enabled? Same question re: download prompting. A link to an
explanation of these settings would also be appreciated.

Hi

You might want to read the document 05_CIF_Browsing.doc

05_CIF_Browsing.doc ("Changes to Functionality in Microsoft Windows XP
Service Pack 2, Part 5: Enhanced Browsing Security") can be downloaded
from here:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...d7-b791-40b6-8364-685b84158c78&DisplayLang=en

Note: WinXPSP2_Documentation.zip contains all the .doc downloads...

Please bear with me - I'm not a technical person and need some help in
layman's terms. Since downloading SP2, I cannot connect to a remote server
for a webpage that I've updated content on. I receive this message: Receive
error: blocking call cancelled. Connection failed main.miniature.net

I also cannot preview the site on my computer because IE restricts the file
from showing active content.

I suspect I need to change IE settings but have no clue which ones to
change. Can anyone help?

Thank you,
Deb

The webmaster has no problem connecting so the problem is mine.
