IE search history

you know when you type something in the search bar and
then click search, it is still in the the search box when
you go back. My question is how do i clear out my search
bar so there is noting there.
 
Tools/Internet Options/
Temp. Internet Files, delete files
Check delete all offline content, OK, OK....
