IE SCREEN OPENS ONLY WITH HEADER

have to click on MAXIMIZE on each "screen" to see entire
screen

this just started - help

I'm experiencing the same (exactly); started last week.
Can't find anything obviuos. Deleted all temp files,
objects, cookies, etc. Updated IE6 SP1 with the latest
patch - still the same problem.
 
I'm sure it's a simple thing - but can't seem to get any
assistance - someone knows I'm sure ... I have all the
latest updates and have no "viri"!
 
Can this help or is the problem deeper?

Open such a link.
Don't use the maximize button.
Stretch the edges/corners so that the window fills the screen.
Close all other IE windows.
Close the stretched window last.
