IE rearranges SOME of my favorites

Some of my favourites (those far out in the alfabeth) are rearranged
(moved) in the Favourites toolbare in IE on XP. I put them back at
top, but after a while they are at the bottom (where they would be if
it was sorted alfabetically). But not ALL. Some are left at the top.
No logic? Anyone now how to tell IE not to mess with the sort order?

Do you have more than 193 favorites in the list?
If so, create sub-folders and move some of them there.
