Hi,
Just to share,
I waited and waited and until now downloaded and installed IE RC1.
Although I've been just using it for less than 1/2 hour, I actually like it.
For the installation (I was very much concerned since NIS 2006 is
installed), the process went through smoothly, and I did disabled Firewall,
Antivirus, and Windows Defendant during the process.
For the site loading, test a few sites including our own, it is very fast
And for one thing that I really "hate" about IE 6 - the multinational domain
names that we applied for the use of customers in other countries, we don't
see it being redirected to the annoying VeriSign page for downloading and
installing add-on anymore.
When we typed our web site name using different languages, IE redirected it
directly to our URL in English - as FireFox and Opera.
The interface is kind of new - so maybe take some time to get used to it.
Tag browsing is excellent, so the taskbar will no longer be filled with
different pages.
Overall speaking, it is very nice at this point (knock 3 times).
The only thing that I am concerned now is, can it 100% revert to previous IE
6's state, if I decided to un-install it? But we will see.
