IE Quits

I will log on and IE will work for awhile sometimes 5
minutes sometimes a couple of hours then I get amessage
saying it cant be displayed or cannot find server it just
has started in the last couple of weeks I recently
upgraded from ME to XP and thats about when it started, I
can bring up Netscape and AOL and they work fine even
when Exporer is down I've downloaded all the updates and
security issues for 6.0 and scan and rescanned, I
upgraded my laptop to but it had Windows 98SE on it and
it dont seem to have the problam yet,if anyone has an
idea please let me know I'm about ready to dump Microsoft
all togather, I make my living on the net and it has cost
me a little but nothing major yet.

Try the following and see if it helps:

To download Java VM for XP:

Problems accessing secure sites/ cannot install 128 bit encryption

Download the Microsoft Java VM for Windows XP here
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

or.......

Script Debugging Problem

Open IE
Tools | Advanced
Under Browings:
Disable Script Debugging - Check it
Display a notification about every script error - Uncheck it
Apply
OK

or..............

You can try updating your scripting engine. The latest scripting engine can
be found at:

If these steps do not resolve your problem, please post back to this thread
