IE problems

Hi,
I have a problem i just recently came across in IE
whenever i try to use the save target as option in IE it
will save the file as the wrong save type i tired
installing the service pack that is supposed to fix this
but it is still doing it and after extensive searching to
try to solve the problem ive had no luck so if anyone can
help me with this please email me or reply to this post
any help will be greatly appreciated.

It is difficult for us to determine the right information to provide for
your problem with out more details, such as the version of Windows you are
using, if you have SP2, the exact wording of any error messages you may
be getting, and which service pack. This will help us determine the proper
information to provide you to make the necessary corrections to resolve your
problem. Please post back with this information and we'll try to get your
problem resolved.
