IE problem

sometimes when I get on the internet and go to another website I get the page
can not be displayed message, but when I hit the refresh button it loads the
page. On the other hand sometimes I have to hit the refresh button a couple
of times to get it to work. What could the problem be. I would appreciate
your help.
