Even though I have disabled the notifications
for "changing between secure and not secure mode"
and "forms submittal redirection" under Options->Advanced-
Security, I still get these notifications. Is there a
way to fix this so it won't bother me?

Hi John :-)

for "changing between secure and not secure mode"
and "forms submittal redirection" under Options->Advanced-

It would truly help us to know more details about the kind of notifications
you are getting. Also, what version of Windows you are using. If you would
post this information, I'm sure someone here can help you. :-)

Hope this helps

Jan :)

Specifically, when I leave a secure site, I continue to
receive the IE notification "you are now being redirected
to a non-secure site, and the information you are sending
may be viewable by a third-party. Do you wish to
continue?" I get this message even though I have disabled
it. I use IE6 SP1 on WinXP Home SP1. Is there any fix for
this?

That happens with IE 5.5 also. The bug was carried over. Have you run a
repair on your IE? Go to Add/Remove Programs and highlight your IE 6 then
click on Remove. A popup will appear asking if you want to reinstall it,
repair it, etc. That might hold you for awhile. Or switch to a good browser
like Firefox that doesn't have all of the IE aggravations.

Don't upgrade to XP SP2 yet as it's real buggy... 99% of the posts here are
because of it.

Try the following and see if it will help.

Click on Tools> Internet Options>Advanced Tab> UNCHECK "Display a
notification about every script error."

Hope this helps
