IE problem!

I have formatted my portable pc about two weeks ago and I set a new system of
antivirus antispyware e firewall because before that I formatted I have a
virus. I use avast4.7 antivirus, Ashampoo firewall 1.0 and spyware
terminator. In the last time when I use IE with java applications or adobe
acrobat plugin I have problem when I close IE window. It doesn't disappear
from task bar and doesn't answer in the task manager.
Anyone can solve this problem?

Thank you for your time, but I use yet ad aware se and spywareblaster...Is
there a way of reinstall or repair IE? I think it's the last chance, because
I use also trend micro on web scanner (house call) and it did'nt find any
virus.
