Hi everbody,

when I try to print or preview html pages I get only the page count and the
footer apart from this the page is blank.
The footer shows somtheing like file://c:/documents and
settings/.../SomeTemporraryFilename.htm instead of the webpages URL.
I already reinstalled windows scripting host, registered ole32.dll and made
sure that the systemvariables tmp and temp point to a valid path.

TIA

Try another browser like firefox, then try printing. If you get print,
then it confirms that IE is the problem...if it does print, then its
something to do with your print driver.
Prints: Ensure you have latest patches from the windowsupdate site
No prints: Remove print driver and use a generic driver(in your printer
manual)

Hi Andreas :-)

You mention which version of WIndows you are using, so I will have to take a
guess here, but, you might try the following and see if it will help:

You will have to scroll down to the text, as it does not come all the way to
the top of the page on this site in IE.

Also...you may need to update your printer driver. Go to the website for
your
printer and download and install the most recent driver for that printer for
your OS.

Hope this helps.

I tried several drivers and two diferent printers to no avail. I also
forwarded the problem to the hotline of HP. So I am pretty sure that it is no
driver problem.

Hi Jan,

please excuse the delayed reply. (I did answer the other day, but my post
somehow got lost.)
The machine runs on windows XP SP2 with all recent updates (AAMOF we got a
wsus running).
I did try the fixes you found but to no avail.

Thanks anyhow
